Short description:

UPSWING proposes the development of three large scale functional training schemes for three professions (insulation technicians, aluminum & metal contraction craftsmen & installers – maintainers of burners) in full accordance with the priorities and Action Plan of the Greek Qualification Roadmap (developed by the BUS – GR project, pillar I of BUILD UP Skills Initiative).  These professions according the Roadmap have substantiated great impact on the energy upgrading of buildings – so, on the achievement of the energy targets of Greece for 2020.

Project outcomes (indicatively):

- development of three large scale fully functional training schemes for the insulation technicians, aluminum & metal contraction craftsmen & installers – maintainers of burners

- certification of the 3 qualification schemes

- 9 pilot courses, 3 per profession group

- 3 pilot “train the trainers” courses, one for each group of professionals addressed

- 45 new trainers qualified till the end of the project (and 225 in the near future)

- 135 professionals qualified and certified  till the end of the project (and 23.650 until 2020)

- implementation of supportive measures all of the above
