Survey carried out by ΙΜΕ GSΕVΕΕ (Small Enterprises’ Institute) - July 2013 – Bi-annual portrayal of the economic climate in small enterprises (with 0-49 employees, making up 99.6% of the Greek enterprises)
The survey presented is the second one carried out in 2013 by GSEVEE’s Institute of Small Enterprises in cooperation with the company MARC SA on a six-month basis since May 2009. The survey was carried out on a nationwide sample of 1,200 micro and small enterprises (0-49 employees), from 10 to 16 July 2013, and its main objective is to portray the economic climate in micro and small enterprises in manufacturing, commerce, and services sectors, which make up 99.6% of enterprises in Greece.
The findings of this survey can be compared with those of previous surveys (February 2010 - January 2013). These surveys are the only instrument available nationwide for recording the situation and progress of the larger part of the real economy in Greece.
As in previous surveys, so now, there is a clear record of trends in the economic climate as well as monitoring of key indicators for the operation of small enterprises during the first half of 2013, whereas an economic forecast for the second half of 2013 is attempted.
